The establishment of the Israeli Cartoon and Comics Museum is the realization of a dream for the caricaturist and comic artist community in Israel. The museum meets the needs of tens of thousands of medium enthusiasts, who enjoy a permanent home for extensive activity in the field. The museum exposes visitors to the art of caricature across its layers, contexts, and artistic qualities, aiming to advance understanding and recognition of caricature as an essential critical tool in society, and of comics as a literary genre with true depth.
The museum encourages research into Israeli caricature as a reflection and critique of the local public mood.
The museum archive holds tens of thousands of original works, newspaper clippings, and books, thanks to the dedication and generosity of dozens of donors. Collections that were a life’s work alongside collections that began as a secondary hobby are today part of the archival collection-held physically or digitally, preserved and organized in accordance with the high standards of art museums.
The establishment of the museum is the result of a joint initiative by the Mayor of Holon, Moti Sasson, the Holon Theatre, and the Israeli Association of Caricaturists and Cartoonists (AKi).
Today, the museum is part of the Mediatheque Holon cultural complex, which includes Design Museum Holon, the Holon Cinematheque, the Mediatheque Theatre, the Materials Library, the Israeli Center for Digital Art, and the Central Library.

Saturday: 10:00-15:00
Admission:
- Single admission: 20 NIS
- Holon residents, students, and soldiers (with ID): 15 NIS
- Senior citizens (with ID): 10 NIS
- Children under 5: Free entry
