    School Activities

The museum, the first and only one of its kind in Israel, provides an experiential learning environment that introduces students to and engages them with the fields of caricature, comics, illustration, and animation. Hosting both permanent and temporary exhibitions, the museum demonstrates how visual art responds to and grapples with social and political realities.

During their visit, students engage in discussions covering citizenship, society, history, freedom of expression, freedom of creation, and encountering “the other.” Alongside these discussions, they explore and experiment with creative processes and visual literacy from the world of comics and caricatures.

The museum offers guided tours and a variety of workshops for educational institutions and schools, serving students in 4th grade and above.

Group Size: Up to 30 participants per guided group; larger groups are divided into two.

Visits feature a guided tour, which can be combined with a workshop led by an expert caricature/comic artist (for adults and students in grades 4 and up) or a workshop led by a museum staff instructor (for students in grades 4–8).

Tour Highlights: Understanding caricatures and their unique language, the role of caricatures in a democratic society, the elements and structure of comics, and a focused look at current temporary exhibitions. Tours can be tailored to specific classroom or school values, as well as annual curriculum topics.

    Guided tour: 45–60 minutes

Workshop (led by a professional artist or museum instructor): 60 minutes
