    Education

The museum, the first and only one of its kind in Israel, offers an experiential learning environment that introduces visitors to and engages them with the fields of caricature, comics, illustration, and animation.

During guided tours and workshops, visitors engage in discussions on freedom of expression and artistic creation, citizenship and society, history, and encountering differing viewpoints.

The Museum as a Learning Space

We believe that the museum space serves as an informal learning environment, offering an experiential and educational atmosphere for general visitors, organized groups, educators, students, and pupils.

The museum hosts both permanent and temporary exhibitions that demonstrate how visual creation responds to and grapples with social and political realities. Furthermore, the museum encourages research into Israeli caricature and comics as mediums that reflect and critique local life.

Alongside its exhibitions, the museum conducts educational, guided, and creative activities, while supporting the development of curricula in history, heritage, civics, and Israeli society.

    Educational Programs

The museum creates and delivers workshops, conferences, and training sessions for pupils, teaching staffs, students, and both young and adult artists. In collaboration with the Ministry of Education, the museum has also developed specialized educational programs on comics and caricature tailored to various school age groups. In high schools, dozens of classes have carried out collaborative projects with the museum as alternative matriculation assessments (Bagrut) in civics, Bible studies, and art.

These programs foster curiosity, open-mindedness, creative thinking, and the expression of diverse abilities. Through each program, participants are exposed to critical, ethical, and social reasoning that views the individual as an integral part of a broader societal mosaic.

Educational programs are customized to meet the specific needs of the visiting institution or group.
